Immense and sumptuous artificial lake (1075 ha) stretching along the Dordogne gorges bordered by forests, banks, beaches and rocky peaks over 21km long. Protected by coastal law, it retains the waters of the Dordogne, classified Natura 2000. Its biodiversity is rich.

Its Cantal shore belongs to the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park and the Corrézien sector of Confolent-Port-Dieu to the Millevaches Regional Natural Park.

Fed by numerous rivers, it is one of the largest reservoirs in France, on the borders of Cantal, Corrèze and Puy-de-Dôme.

If you have proven sailing experience, our license-free boat the "Victoria" awaits you at the port of Beaulieu near the L'AIR DU TEMPS campsite.

For a gentle roaming trip or to satisfy your passion for fishing, the "Victoria" will meet your expectations. Small Quicksilver with cabin made up of two berths, 4.60m long, it is equipped with a depth sounder.
