Rated 4 stars, our campsite stands out for its peaceful and exceptional setting. Located in the heart of a Natura 2000 site and within the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, in the Haut Cantal region, it offers breathtaking views.
Enjoy a unique panoramic view of Lake Bort-les-Orgues, the majestic Cantal Mountains, the foothills of the Corrèze region, and the famous Château de Val. Throughout your stay, you will be charmed by the friendly, warm, and family atmosphere at Camping l’Air du Temps. Practical Information: Pets are only allowed on bare pitches, with a limit of two per pitch (subject to compliance with the regulations: Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited and must be kept on a leash). Motorhome owners: due to the layout of our site, we cannot accommodate motorhomes longer than 7 meters during peak season. The history of the campsite is linked to that of the Upper Dordogne Valley, but also to that of the Bort-les-Orgues Dam, built in 1952.
In the beginning, in 1993, L’Air du Temps was a small farm campsite. Today, it is a classified tourist campsite in Sancy-Artense, where values such as family, sharing, and conviviality continue to be passed down from generation to generation.

Our quiet campsite in Sancy-Artense has taken up residence on a natural estate of 1 hectare. You will discover rentals and pitches. Calm, simplicity and little pleasures will punctuate your stay in our campsite in the heart of nature.

The eco-responsible approach
In all our actions and our future projects, we make it a point of honor to respect and preserve the environment. We work in symbiosis with nature and we do everything to reduce our impact on our little corner of paradise.
We have chosen not to have a swimming pool, but many beaches are accessible within walking distance.

Spaces to meet
We offer a variety of spaces for your use. These include a common room with a self-service library, a television, and a Wi-Fi hotspot (the only one in the campsite, so you can truly disconnect).
Outdoors, you'll enjoy strolling through the hectare of natural surroundings or playing a few rounds on the ping-pong table.
A consistently pleasant welcome
To meet our entire team and get information and helpful advice on activities in the surrounding area, please visit our reception. It is open every day during the opening season of our family campsite, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the low season and from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the high season.
We will answer all your questions in French and English.
Sanitary facilities
On the estate, you will find sanitary facilities with: sinks, showers, WC, PRM area, nursery cabin, refrigerator, freezer, iron and ironing board, microwave and washing machine. You will have access to all the sanitary equipment free of charge, this is what we call the “comfort pack”, which is offered to you whatever the duration or period. of your reservation.
The convenience store
At the reception, discover our convenience store. We offer you a range of dry products and basic necessities. It is also at the reception that you can find the sale of drinks (local beers, sodas, ...) and ice creams.
In July and August, order the day before for the next day, your breads and pastries, to be collected at the reception between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. (all week, except Monday).
